MSc. Computing Science - Spec. Cyber Security

About me

At age 14 I started developing websites, and I’ve never lost my love for programming since. Two years later, I officially registered my first web development company with a friend of mine: he did design and lay-out, while I wrote the code and communicated with clients.

After graduating high school, I went to study Business & IT, since both the fields of computer science and business administration appeal to me. During this study, I found myself enjoying the computer science courses much more. Consequently, I did a minor in Sweden to test whether a master in Computer Science would suit me, which it did. Since a course on Cryptology sparked my enthusiasm in particular, I went with a master in Cyber Security.

My passion still lies in software development, especially when it involves security topics. I furthermore enjoy researching methods and tools to increase workflow efficiency, both for the bigger picture (e.g. DevOps) or smaller things (e.g. configuring my development environment). In my spare time I enjoy sports, socializing, and reading about (socio)technology, politics, and news.
